The Cottonwood Convergence

Led by the Land

Led by the Land

We don’t see the land as a backdrop. We see it as a participant. The Cottonwood Convergence has taken its shape in response to the space that holds it. The trees, the wind, the light — it all influences how we gather, how we move, and how the experience unfolds. Respect is important. Listening goes deeper. We pay attention to the terrain, to the flow of people, to the subtle shifts that happen when a group settles into shared presence. Sometimes that means adjusting. Sometimes it means slowing down. Sometimes it means allowing a moment to breathe. The land has its own timing. We try to honor it. When we gather this way, the event feels less manufactured and more alive — grounded, responsive, and real. It’s hard to fully explain. If you’re curious what we mean, come and feel it for yourself.

Rooted in REALationship

Rooted in REALationship

Connection here is not transactional. It is relational. This is not a space designed for reach or audience-building. It is designed for genuine encounter — conversations that linger, shared laughter, thoughtful listening, and presence that cannot be rushed. REALationships form when people are not treated as metrics, markets, or means to an end. We value depth over volume. A handful of meaningful exchanges matters more than countless brief ones. Familiarity grows slowly. Trust builds over time. We are not interested in becoming bigger for visibility. We are interested in becoming more connected. A community rooted in REALationship is not expansive in size — it is expansive in care.

Room to Be Exactly as You Are

Room to Be Exactly as You Are

In nature, nothing is asked to justify its existence. Tall trees and crooked ones grow side by side. Wildflowers bloom without comparison. Moss spreads quietly. Each presence belongs without explanation. We gather in that same spirit. People arrive here from many paths — spiritual, religious, cultural, creative, scientific, questioning, or simply curious. Some come with long‑held traditions. Some come with practices still unfolding. Some come without a defined framework at all. You do not need to share a belief system to share this space. What matters here is respect — for the land, for one another, and for the many ways people make meaning in their lives. Belonging does not require agreement. It requires care. You are welcome here exactly as you are.

Learning as Living Practice

Learning as Living Practice

Learning here is not a schedule to complete. It is a practice to enter. Throughout the day, workshops and conversations unfold in rhythm with the land and the energy of the gathering. Each offering is an invitation — to notice closely, to work with your hands, to ask better questions, to remember what curiosity feels like. There is no expectation to attend everything. No pressure to consume every session. Depth matters more than volume. Choose what calls to you. Stay present. Let understanding take root. Learning in this space is not about accumulation. It is about relationship — with knowledge, with skill, with one another, and with the natural world that surrounds us. When curiosity is grounded, it stays with you.

Exchange with Integrity

Exchange with Integrity

What is offered here is shared with intention. Because the gathering remains intimate, the circle of makers, facilitators, and practitioners is thoughtfully considered each year. This is not about abundance of booths. It is about coherence of experience. We believe exchange should strengthen community, not extract from it. When you support a maker, attend a session, or invest in an offering, you participate in a cycle of reciprocity — one that values craft, care, and connection over mass production or spectacle. Quality is not measured in scale. It is measured in intention. Every offering is present because it contributes to the integrity of the whole. Commerce, when grounded in relationship, becomes another way of tending community.

Shared Stewardship

Shared Stewardship

This gathering exists because many people choose to give their time, energy, and commitment in different ways. The committee planning behind the scenes. The volunteers offering steady hands and long hours. The facilitators and makers sharing their skill and creativity. The land, holding it all. And the participants arriving with openness — choosing to invest in the offerings and in the ongoing life of this community. No one is merely an observer here. Some contribute through preparation. Some through service. Some through teaching. Some through financial support. Some through presence and participation. Each form of involvement carries weight. We do not take that lightly. Stewardship is shared. Responsibility is collective. The Convergence is shaped by those who show up with intention and care. When contribution is mutual, community deepens. And we all benefit.

A New Festival

This year, 2026, marks the very first Cottonwood Convergence

A new festival with roots that run deep into a long-standing love for land, fellowship, and intentional community. While the event itself is new, it rises from an understanding of people who gather not just to celebrate, but to honor the earth that sustains them and the relationships that grow from shared purpose.

The Cottonwood Convergence

A heartfelt love letter to both land and community, an outdoor, metaphysical, and holistic fall festival created for the courageously curious.

Welcoming Space

Designed as a welcoming space for seekers, nature lovers, healers, learners, and open-hearted explorers, the festival invites guests into an atmosphere of grounded discovery, meaningful connection, and collective celebration.

Intentionally Shaped

Every element of the gathering is intentionally shaped to encourage slowing down, listening, and engaging with the world around you in a more mindful way.

While the event spans the entire property, the great cottonwood tree at its center stands as a living symbol of the festival’s spirit, rooted, expansive, and quietly powerful, serving as a natural point of convergence for stories, ideas, and shared experiences.
